The Holy War will not save you.

Yesterday afternoon a small four wheel drive was weaponized and driven into a tram stop in Melbourne. Melbourne is very progressive and quite multicultural. It is, however, usually safe.

The vehicle ran a red light just after 4.30pm on Thursday, witnesses told 3AW.
The incident brought parts of the city to a standstill. Ambulance, fire and police cordoned off an increasingly large area of the southern section of the Melbourne CBD.
A witness, John, told ABC radio: “A car, an SUV coming at high speed and [I] really just heard the collision with people and bags and what must be shopping trolleys and I hope not prams … It seems there were around 10 pedestrians involved.”
Aerial footage of the scene showed a white Suzuki SUV crashed into a tram stop.
A witness, Jim, who owns a bakery on Flinders Street, said of the driver: “He seemed to be travelling at about 80-100km down Flinders Street in a westerly direction. The intersection was full of pedestrians and he ploughed through pedestrians. The only thing slowing him down was him hitting pedestrians.

Of course the Pravda states this is all mental illness and addiction. Nothing to see, move on, but our anti terror groups are still investigating. I find it interesting that they attribute this to mental health. The commentators overseas see a pattern with the simila attacks in Europe and America.

The question is not the pain, but if this is that new form of cultural enrichment, a holy war.

Police say a man accused of deliberately crashing a car into pedestrians outside Melbourne’s Flinders Street train station, sending 19 people to hospital and creating peak-hour chaos, has a history of assault, drug use and mental health issues.

Of the 19 admitted to hospital, 15 are in a stable condition — including a four-year-old boy and the driver — and four are in a critical condition.

Acting Chief Commissioner Shane Patton said the man was arrested by an “heroic” off-duty police officer.

“To step in when you see that trauma, not understanding what the threat is … and take somebody into custody not knowing what he is risking himself — it is heroic,” he said.

But he said there was no evidence to indicate there was a connection with terrorism.

‘All you could hear was hits, screams’

Witnesses say they heard screams and saw bodies “thrown into the air” as a white SUV ploughed into pedestrians near Melbourne’s Flinders Street Station.
“We don’t at this time have any evidence or any intelligence to indicate there’s a connection with terrorism,” he said.

However, he said they would continue to work with the Counter-terrorism Command to ensure there was no connection and ongoing threat.

This is happening at a time when there are traffic barriers, throughout Europe, around shopping centres. I am not blaming the police for being cautious: their statements will be questioned by lawyers. They have to be cautious.

But thank God, I am not a cop in that Socialist Republic.

And I have this to say: your works cannot save you. Fighting in a Holy War cannot save you. Mohammed lied.

Galatians 3:1-14

1You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly exhibited as crucified! 2The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard? 3Are you so foolish? Having started with the Spirit, are you now ending with the flesh? 4Did you experience so much for nothing? ? if it really was for nothing. 5Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?

6Just as Abraham” believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” 7so, you see, those who believe are the descendants of Abraham. 8And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, declared the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the Gentiles shall be blessed in you.” 9For this reason, those who believe are blessed with Abraham who believed.

10For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the things written in the book of the law.” 11Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law; for “The one who is righteous will live by faith.” 12But the law does not rest on faith; on the contrary, “Whoever does the works of the law will live by them.” 13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us ? for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree” ? 14in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There are many sincere men and women who seek God and know that they are sinful. Who are taught that if they do this, their sins will be indulged. That the amount of Good they do outweighs the Evil. This is wrong. Consider a recent case in NZ. A policeman of many years finds his wife is having an affair with a colleague. He shoots both, then turns himself in. He is now condemned and sentenced to jail for murder: in older times he would be facing the noose.

I have no doubt he did much good. But for his evil, he must pay.

Our salvation is in the completed work of Christ, and nothing else. We cannot add to it. And if we could earn our way to heaven, there would be no need for the incarnation, for Christmas, or for the Cross, for Easter.

These days it is very difficult to experience a sudden death and die in a state grace.
Not hard at all if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior since He is the only source of being in a state of grace.

Therefore, there is no indulgence or redemption for sins by fighting a holy war. That is a lie from the pit.

However, when war comes, there is duty, and honour. We have invited those who hate Christmas and Easter among us. We should not be shocked when they attack.

But their attempts at terror should silence us not.
