My mother in law is with us, as she has been unwell. Like many of her generation, she gets her news from the media: from the newspaper, which she reads every day, and from the television news: she watches the state funded channel as she has all her life. Despite it being propaganda. Last night was all about the golden globes, and about sexual harassment. Further accusations of Australian Actors. Further examples of the fall, and how we are hypocrites, for all the stars knew that casting was corrupt, and they promote degeneration.
It is much easier to Virtue signal than talk about the fall, but this blog does not do the easy thing.
All the Hollywood women are showing up at the Globes dressed in black as a protest. Some have called it brave, but really it’s just herd behavior from them again. Bravery is hardly doing what everybody else around you is also doing.
Women do have agency. If they acted for real in concert as a cohort against the casting couch, they’d have an effect. Instead they decide to virtue-signal solidarity with their choices in dresses. It’s ridiculous, they are throwing all their real agency away here.
The problem they face is that enough starlets will go ahead and blow the Weinsteins of Harveywood in order to land the roles.
They can’t hold the line. Of course, they really haven’t tried to, either. It seems to be just a bunch of virtue-signaling. Great, more Holier-Than-Thou from Harveywood. That’s all we need.
Instead let us talk about why we do such things. Consider that when we were children we wanted to be the knight that the princess would love: we wanted to wed, be faithful, be happy and live together forever. We still want these things. The women in Hollywood — with very few exceptions — trade their looks for parts, and do not live lives with contentment and happiness.
The days when female actors retired in their early 20s to support their husbands and raise their kids are long gone. Jolie is now promoted as the epitome of motherhood — and she is bisexual, has had failed marriages, and supports her offspring becoming transgender. But she was pretty, and she says the pretty lies.
Like Oprah, she believes we can be as Gods. Which is the genesis of the fall: that we would not accept what we are, and the limitations of our created selves. This is taught by many gurus and experts in spirituality, and it is why when someone talks about spirituality I assume they are a spokeswoman for the pit of hell.

We still lie. The tree of life is no longer available to us, but we teach that we eternal if we become less than human, post human, or converge with the spirit of the age. But the spirit of the age is envy, destruction, atomization, despair and the protection of evil.
I give it about six months before the media declares that anyone who cares about sexual harassment, rape, and child abuse in Hollywood is a) alt-right, b) sexist, c) homophobic and d) anti-semitic. We’ve already seen from Cat Rambo, the SFWA, and Worldcon that SJWs will tolerate even the most vicious sex criminals rather than accept the imposition of any moral standards on the deviants in their midst.
This doubling down in evil does not liberate. It oppresses. It is noticed. And the sane among us are ignoring such. Please note that there are 300 million people in the USA. Hollywood is not speaking to a minority.
The 2018 Golden Globes were down in the Nielsen ratings compared to last year.
The Golden Globes, airing on NBC, drew a 5.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 19 million viewers. That is an approximate drop of approximately 11 percent in the demo and 5 percent in total viewers compared to 2017’s final numbers (5.6, 20 million). The 2016 Golden Globes finished out with a 5.5 and 18.7 million.
In addition, in metered market households, this year’s ceremony drew a 13.4 rating, up slightly from the 13.3 from last year’s ceremony.
The curses that we have from the fall still affect us. The desire of women to rule over men has made the workplace toxic, and our political parties tyrannical. John Knox was more right than he thought. The sane response is to walk away, to be silent. Let the consequences of their actions be. For they have told us they will not listen.
Particularly if they have gone to an US college for the experience, and not for the skills. Which is not what I would suggest for any young person. Your soul is too precious, and they will charge you handsomely for the credential that certifies your corruption. Though that model of business is failing, outdated, and outmoded — a bit like Pervywood.
Women who graduate from college in non-STEM fields are especially progressive. In my experience, most young, unmarried women form their views by adapting to the dominant views of their community. On campus, their community is usually progressive. In my experience, men are more likely to construct a worldview through reasoning and evaluating evidence.
In my experience, young, unmarried progressive women are progressive because they want taxpayer-funded abortions, taxpayer-funded contraception, no-fault divorce, single mother welfare, student-loan forgiveness, etc. Taxpayer-funded bailouts for problems caused by their own free choices. They feel that if society is paying for something, then it’s “normal” and they don’t have feel guilty about making poor choices. Their primary concern about politics is being able to do what they feel like without anyone disapproving. Everything bad that happens is “unexpected”, and so society should have to pay for it.
Most men rightly disagree with leftist policies, because men believe in personal responsibility. But if men think that they will be falsely charged or otherwise sanctioned for being conservative, then it makes sense for them to not speak to women at all. Again, that’s bad for the minority of young, unmarried conservative women, but it’s safer to just avoid the risk. Especially as radical feminism becomes the dominant view among young, unmarried women. The point is that men are going to have to hide their political views from MOST young, unmarried women in the office, because progressive ones seem to be very intolerant of the conservative views that most men hold.
I don’t even speak to young, unmarried women about religion and politics in the workplace. It doesn’t matter if we have the same views or not. Feeling offended and going full totalitarian is just too widespread. The rational choice for men is to disengage. I can have conversations safely about religion and politics with men, even if they disagree with me. I realize that this isn’t fair to the minority of young, unmarried conservative women who are safe to talk to, but it’s just too dangerous to risk it.
What will happen now is that the witch hunt will burn out, but the mantle of heaven will pass. Actors will be seen as disreputable again. Acting will be a slightly embarrassing habit, like playing the bagpipes, viola or trombone. And the media will lose their audience as they move to a better place.
Where there is no fall, merely judgement, salvation, or convergence in death with the spirits of this Age.
Where we shall see God and realise we are not like him.
Far better to disengage from this rotten culture now. Support instead what is beautiful, true, and holy.

I have had conversations with 3 liberals about the liberal men groping and assaulting. All 3 liberals tried to distract and deflect by pivoting to Roy Moore and claiming that what he was accused of was worse than what Weinstein, Laurer, or Rose have been accused of.
They ignore very recent Hollywood age gaps; Doug Giles (The Green Mile) began dating Courtney Stodden when she was 15, they married when she turned 16, Doug was 51. Paul Walker (Fast & Furious) was dating a 16 year old when he was 39. Roman Polanski raped a 13 year old.
The age of consent does not apply to these men. Until the revolution, or the reformation. May it be a reformation: that is less bloody, and only those convicted of pederasty will face the executioner
I was kicked out of a FB group for merely #ing “sheknew” on someone’s Oprah hurrah hurrah.
They. All. Knew. So did we! Casting Couch is real even if we nervously laugh it off. A country song I recall has the lyrics “girl, don’t you remember what your knees are for.”
Honor that can be sold is not honor. Once sold, it’s cheap as pyrite and a poor substitute of water for chocolate.
Everyone knew this. And … we told each other, word of mouth, “Don’t be alone with Harris.” And we told each other, in general terms, “If a man wants to do business alone in a hotel room – he doesn’t want to do business”. Much like “don’t walk through an alley”, some things are common sense.
And you could say NO. There are ways to do that without loss of face in most situations. And in situations where his loss of face are unavoidable – too bad, so sad. He’s insulted you, comes with the territory. You *take offense* immediately and make a scene. Both more useful all around and more humane than a witchhunt.
