I have a few speculations relating to these passages, and there are few sacred cows that need to meet the shotgun of the word. Let’s start with the first; Women are not saints.I asked myself this when attempting a short break from sex in order to prepare for my recent summer tour, where I decided not to focus on women at all. This mild chastity experiment has forced me to conclude that my natural urge is being strongly affected by my surroundings.
I’ve already commented how watching porn can actually increase your perceived need for sex, but there’s something much more ordinary that is tempting you every day: the sight of female skin. Once summer finally got around to Poland in early June, girls walked the streets in little booty shorts and tank tops. This may have been a welcome sight for the horny man on the hunt, but for a man attempting to complete an important project on deadline, it was an impossible distraction. I could not help but think of sex when instantly viewing their bodies—and then how to get sex from them.
Roosh is in Poland. When this picture was posted on Vox, all the alt right nerd boys went “Squee! The cute girls are on our side!!!”. Now, I have no clue about the woman in that post but that she’s promoting Christ and Poland at a football match.
But there is a reason for modesty, and for praising those who do not burn with desire. There are reasons to fear incubus, the cult of Astarte, the ritualization of corruption advocated by pagan and libertine alike. For the cost of this to society is high, and to the righteous greater.
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard about the fame of Jesus, and he said to his servants, “This is John the Baptist. He has been raised from the dead; that is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” For Herod had seized John and bound him and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, because John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.” And though he wanted to put him to death, he feared the people, because they held him to be a prophet. But when Herod’s birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced before the company and pleased Herod, so that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.” And the king was sorry, but because of his oaths and his guests he commanded it to be given. He sent and had John beheaded in the prison, and his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother. And his disciples came and took the body and buried it, and they went and told Jesus.
Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless.
Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”
Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
I’m speculating. But patterns in the past have a nasty habit of reappearing. And if I have read this aright the following is going to happen.
- The worship of the feminine spirit will invade the church, and other cultures. Those who preach the good old religion will be damned as fundamentalists. Those who teach women should obey their husbands will be cast out of the ministry. Those who do not allow women to divorce for moar romance will be damned as misogynist
- There will be active promotion of perversion and prostitution as sex positive experiences. There will the return of haetera, Companions: sex will again be part of spiritual experience and a religious duty.
- The worship of the state cult will become compulsory: either as a reaction to coming religious wars or by the regulation of human resources. You will have to show the marks of loyalty on your flesh
- Mystery cults will flourish, and aesthetic disciplines combined with sexual dissolution.
- There will be many young men who will simply not participate. They will see the society, correctly, as corrupt and they will grass eat. They will consider the risk of having a GF, let alone a wife, as too great. They will seek solace in games, porn, or the gym. I expect that fraternities will again exist, and they will be part of a darknet, without any permission or licence from any authority
- Those who say that this is wrong will die. They will see the fate of John the Baptist.
I am a father and grandfather. I pray, not as often as I ought, that I am spared long enough to see the grandchildren raised, and that all my children are in the faith. I have seen how the liberal church and society can make pagans: part of my hatred of the liberals is that the destruction of faith that entails their ecumenical projects (in the Uniting Churches of Canada, Australia and elsewhere) has affected my family. And I’m quite aware that I have more of Roosh in me than I would really want to admit.
But I look at the current situation. The boys do not care about the dating scene. They consider it a trap: they don’t want to end up like their old man. (And the sons DO get female attention. A fair bit of it. They ignore it.)
I can see that there will be the 144k, and they will not all be faithful priests from our Papist friends. I can see Babylon trying to destroy the church.
And I can see Babylon breaking. For the consequences of the very policies I have outlined above is that there is no next generation, and the barbarians who will enter as slaves or guest workers will have no interest in these cults of death.
But at present Babylon is very much the agenda of the Western elite. We have to be prepared for it to get pretty bleak and fascist before it gets better. And at this time, the saints require endurance.
So subvert them. When the petunias ask why you are not fornicating your girlfriend, say that it is because of your spiritual practice. And if the same precious petals ask why you are truly ensuring your spouse is sexually satiated, even though your marriage is imperfect, say that it is part of your spiritual practice.
That is true: for each morning we need to face Christ and be shriven. It’s better not to have too much dirt on us when that occurs. The old virtues of modesty and chastity, the old teachings on marriage, work. Follow them, and not this world.
