I’m feeling like a complete hypocrite this morning. I blog on the word of the LORD daily, but I live basically alone. Just my children — who also prefer things to be quiet. We are not good a passion. We mistrust emotions. I’m cold most days. On good days I get to lukewarm.
And lukewarm, half hearted faith, the faith of the prosperous, the churchian faith of compromise. , makes God want to vomit.
14“And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the origin of God’s creation:
15“I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. 16So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17For you say, ‘I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing.’ You do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18Therefore I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich; and white robes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen; and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. 19I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent. 20Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me. 21To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”
In the west, we have been prosperous — to the point where the poor complain about not having cellphones, not about if they can be fed. And this has made us effete.
Americans aren’t lacking guns, they’re lacking courage and keen insight. Yes, I said it. American men, at least at the current time, are both too cowardly and too ignorant to mount any sort of offensive against their resident rulers. They have been made complacent through obesity, consumerism, and fornication, and they purchase weaponry because it is in fashion and not because they are seriously preparing to fight the government.
Now, one should be able to turn to the church. Jesus says that he is knocking, asking entrance into our lives. But the current feminist ideas are driving men out of the church. But instead the church seems to be supporting the current situation. We agree with the campaigns that blame all men for violence (lie) argue that the ancient women were slaves for living in holy submission to their husbands (lie) and question the very family structure our LORD submitted to as a child. The fact that the current system of repeated divorce (USA) serial de-facto marriages (the rest of the world) damages us and damages our kids is not seen.
Christian men end up feeling guilty because they are randy. This is nonsense, It is like saying we should be guilty for being hungry. There is a licit system that deals with both — regular meals for food, and early, covenantal marriage for life for the other. It is when you remove healthy food, and healthy marriage as an option that people turn to other options.

The obvious is for those leading Churchianity to get on their knees and repent in sackcloth and ashes for supporting the widespread rebellion of women, denigrating men and their place before the sight of God and for defiling what God has given them. Then put down the rebellion of women against God, support men and lift them up in the image of God and restore the true Biblical practice of marriage in place of Marriage 2.0. But I don’t see that happening. Rather I see these people courting God’s wrath.
I could add that this also involves the practical issues of caring for the poor and needy, of being a witness in this society, to hold the faith which we are given. We need to all repent. For the daily compromises we are making with this society (which will not last) will kill us.
