One of the evangelical theological groups has put together a theological statement of fourteen points. It is worth reading, for it does three important things.
- It redeclares that we are a sexually dimorphic species, and this is good. That we are male and female, and this is from the beginning, both loved by God, and both sexes have moral agency and dignity.
- It states that marriage from the beginning was between a man and a woman. That sexual intercourse is for that state, and no other. That godly celibacy is equally or more valued: and the legal redefinition of homosexual marriages as valid are sinful
- It states that transgenderism and reassignment is wrong, for those who are afflicted with physical intersex can live richly and fully, and psychological issues should not change this
- Finally, it calls us all to live morally, and not by our lusts
Twitter is melting down. This is deemed hate speech, hurtful in the time of flooding. The demonstrations of the left and their riots, naturally, are not, for they keep the postmodern narrative grinding on.
Twitter amuses me. Those social justice warriors who will never darken the doors of a church have never read of revival. They have never seen the Spirit of God change people. They do not understand that there are things that are not mutable. They consider you can split a baby and it will live.
They are fools. Be amused. Do not be like them.
16Later, two women who were prostitutes came to the king and stood before him. 17The one woman said, “Please, my lord, this woman and I live in the same house; and I gave birth while she was in the house. 18Then on the third day after I gave birth, this woman also gave birth. We were together; there was no one else with us in the house, only the two of us were in the house. 19Then this woman’s son died in the night, because she lay on him. 20She got up in the middle of the night and took my son from beside me while your servant slept. She laid him at her breast, and laid her dead son at my breast. 21When I rose in the morning to nurse my son, I saw that he was dead; but when I looked at him closely in the morning, clearly it was not the son I had borne.” 22But the other woman said, “No, the living son is mine, and the dead son is yours.” The first said, “No, the dead son is yours, and the living son is mine.” So they argued before the king.
23Then the king said, “The one says, ‘This is my son that is alive, and your son is dead’; while the other says, ‘Not so! Your son is dead, and my son is the living one.’” 24So the king said, “Bring me a sword,” and they brought a sword before the king. 25The king said, “Divide the living boy in two; then give half to the one, and half to the other.” 26But the woman whose son was alive said to the king — because compassion for her son burned within her — “Please, my lord, give her the living boy; certainly do not kill him!” The other said, “It shall be neither mine nor yours; divide it.” 27Then the king responded: “Give the first woman the living boy; do not kill him. She is his mother.” 28All Israel heard of the judgment that the king had rendered; and they stood in awe of the king, because they perceived that the wisdom of God was in him, to execute justice.
The whores knew better, for they were mothers. They knew that a baby divided would die. And the mother of the child wanted it to live. (The health issues about sleeping when stoned with an infant still exist. Finland has baby boxes for a reason.
The post modern believes they can leave all this behind. They can call themselves female when male. and male when female. They can experiment with gender. To say other is now hate speech.
We need to this reject. It is a lie, it leads to destruction: the self gelding of men and women. It is far better that we live by the scripture, and follow the example of our older brother.
Despite my rejection of my Evangelical Protestant faith tradition, I am eternally grateful for the moral and Godly upbringing I received from it. In an age of moral relativism, such a heritage is priceless.
I recently entered Minor Orders. I am currently an Acolyte, and I serve at altar. Now an older man, in what years I have remaining, I have resolved to live a pious life and serve the lord. Jobs, materialism, or the endless pursuit of pleasure pale when compared to final judgement before God and eternity. “For what shall it profit a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36).
Like the tenth century pagans, I too am “at a loss of how to describe it”. But like them, I saw that “God dwells there among men” in the Church of the Apostles.
Marriage exists so that we quench the fires of our desire in a godly manner: so that children are borned, and so that women have more dignity that the whores who demanded the King judge between them. Let us rediscover this. And let the postmodern fools rage.
We Christ will follow, and our house.
The people who would empty the pews aren’t IN the pews in the first place, so why do we care what they think?

Thank you for the free publicity. Two comments: 1.) I was a christian for 2 decades before leaving the faith. I am fully aware of what good the church can do, and more importantly, of what evil the church can do in the name of god and be excused for it by otherwise good people. 2.) Not all christians are christofascists, but the christians that try to impose their beliefs on others are. If you are offended by the term, maybe you are one. For example: “I believe LGBT people are sinful” is an unfortunate but acceptable belief; “I believe LGBT people are sinful, therefore they should be denied the legal privileges I myself claim freely” is not.
Oddly, the Twitterati would see that as heresy more passionately than we would see what they promote. They are less ideologically tolerant. There is a certain twisted humor in it.
