An unsustainable tyranny [Rom 15]

I have to remind myself to not jump into US politics. It is too tempting. What is happening, as the progressives there go full retard, they assume that they will the tolerated, for those who are strong are gentile. They have more resources than the autistic screeching that seems to be the current discourse on the left.

There is an assumption that if they throw tantrums that they will get their way, and all will be well.

This is affecting the church. Many within the church think that it is all about social activism because Christ came and set up justice. But Herod the Tyrant still reigned, Pilate was still a political coward, and the Romans still ran Palestine. The witness he had is to a kingdom not of tribes or nations, but of those called to him.

It has nothing to do with the budget in a state that is deeply progressive. It is not about being special. It is not about the world accommodating your wishes.

Romans 15:1-13

1We who are strong ought to put up with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor. 3For Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” 4For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. 5May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus, 6so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. 8For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God in order that he might confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, 9and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,
“Therefore I will confess you among the Gentiles,
and sing praises to your name”;
10and again he says,
“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people”;
11and again,
“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles,
and let all the peoples praise him”;
12and again Isaiah says,
“The root of Jesse shall come,
the one who rises to rule the Gentiles;
in him the Gentiles shall hope.”
13May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit

The aim of being gentle with those weaker than you is not to leave them in weakness. It is not to tolerate their error. It is to guide them, by precept and practice, to maturity. There is a need for leadership, and leadership is not being a doormat, or meeting the criteria that some MBA includes in a 360 degree review, or being inclusive. A coach aims to make people champions in this sport. A therapist tries to give people an understanding so they can take their life back. These involve confrontation of dysfunction, not tolerance of this.

And another word for dysfunction is sin. We were not created to destroy ourselves with desires we cannot fulfil.

The level of denial is insane. I mean, really, in the eyes of these guys women really are pretty much incapable of being culpable of personal sin — if they do commit objective sins, they are not at fault for them, but some man is. It’s a nearly complete denial to allow women to have moral agency. This is not Christian, and it isn’t scriptural — it’s cultural and comes from 19th Century cultural Christianity. It isn’t actually a Christian perspective, because it’s clear from the scriptures that God does in fact assign moral agency to women, and holds them to moral account. These cowards are afraid of women, and twist the meaning of the scriptures beyond recognition in order to avoid confronting women directly with their sins. Cowards, full stop, scared of mommy.

This appeasement of the weak instead of leadership is completely against the narrative, who calls this patriarchal oppression (particularly when women do it) and fascism. But this is the equivalent of a toddler’s tantrum. The correct thing is to restrain the toddler from harm, and keep adults who have no self-control from having any position from which they can do damage.

This will exclude many, if not all. And that does not matter: leading the church is a high matter, and few of those called are chosen.

But this I know. There is a need for structure in the family, When the father is absent, then the grandfather needs to step into that role. Without such, the appropriate care and attention that women do is unshielded, and many think they can live their fantasies because it is the current year.

Men know better. They give up their sports for work, for their family. And by such is the church builded, and a nation redeemed.

The Tyranny of the effete, the broken, and the offended, who are the Red Guards of this Narrative, is never going to be sustained. In china, this virtue cycle burned out after the young tyrants killed many because the nation would fall. It took down the Gang of Four who sponsored it. The same will happen in the West, and faster, because the apparatus of the state needs the consent of the people.

Shun the progressives and their errors. Do not be them. Do not be like them.
