Bad words on the internet [Deut 13]

Treason has always had the death penalty. A traitor can kill far more people than a man running around with a knife, or a random shooter. The primary treason, however, is to encourage people to walk away from God. The media of this time like to consider themselves as preachers and prophets.

But they do not know the law. If they did, they would understand that being a prophet is not a gift, but a terrible responsibility. For the accountability under the law was great, and your life was in the balance.

In the modern state, the compromise was that we would not have heresy trials outside the church. No longer would men like Severtius

Do not think that the immigrants among us, who have not been prepared to compromise, will agree to such. They kill. For any reason.

A Syrian migrant was stabbed to death in northern Germany by another Syrian because he was eating ice cream during Ramadan. The murder — which occurred in broad daylight in a busy pedestrian shopping area in Oldenburg and caused great consternation among local citizens — is not just the latest example of Sharia law being enforced on German streets. The crime also highlighted the growing epidemic of knife violence in Germany.

Knives, axes and machetes have become weapons of choice for criminals in Germany, which has some of the strictest gun laws in Europe. Knives are not only being used to carry out jihadist attacks, but increasingly to commit homicides, robberies, home invasions, sexual assaults, honor killings and many other kinds of violent crime

We are not supposed to talk in these modern times about the violence on the street. We will instead by prosecuted for bad words on the Internet. For the authorities are afraid. Their narrative is crumbling.

Deuteronomy 13:1-11

1 If prophets or those who divine by dreams appear among you and promise you omens or portents, 2 and the omens or the portents declared by them take place, and they say, “Let us follow other gods” (whom you have not known) “and let us serve them,” 3 you must not heed the words of those prophets or those who divine by dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you, to know whether you indeed love the LORD your God with all your heart and soul. 4 The LORD your God you shall follow, him alone you shall fear, his commandments you shall keep, his voice you shall obey, him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast. 5 But those prophets or those who divine by dreams shall be put to death for having spoken treason against the LORD your God – who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery – to turn you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

6 If anyone secretly entices you – even if it is your brother, your father’s son or your mother’s son, or your own son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your most intimate friend – saying, “Let us go worship other gods,” whom neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 any of the gods of the peoples that are around you, whether near you or far away from you, from one end of the earth to the other, 8 you must not yield to or heed any such persons. Show them no pity or compassion and do not shield them. 9 But you shall surely kill them; your own hand shall be first against them to execute them, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 Stone them to death for trying to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 11 Then all Israel shall hear and be afraid, and never again do any such wickedness.

May none of us be heresiarchs. May we love God with all our heart and mind and soul. The fanatic does not this do: he would rather murder and steal.

Within the church we should cast out those who preach anything but Christ crucified and imply that you can worship any God but the God of Jacob and Abraham. We do not live in a theocracy (and Israel did not after they had kings). We live in a state, and we are aware that this state, like any other, has heresy and treason trials.

Those who do not subscribe to the pluralist narrative of this age are deemed hate criminals. Those who hate, however, are deemed as useful as Sejanus was… they allow the state to micromanage even more. To double down after it has lied.

There is a war on. There are people dead on streets. Bad words on the internet are less important than protecting those we love and worshipping God. And wiser leaders know this.
