The classification with a couple of caveats: the normies win elections, but the alt light and alt right build on ideas from the dark enlightenment. The main movers are not named in this article, but are obvious.

The normie-right is the biggest group. Think your average non-leftist heterosexual male; he just wants some money, friends, entertainment, a girl. He does not want headache induced by heated political debates.

Because they are the biggest group they exert the biggest control over their superorganism. Yet they are the moderates, so they are most easily influenced. Per Moldbug: “if you were a moderate in Vienna in 1907, you thought Franz Josef I was the greatest thing since sliced bread.” And indeed the normie-right has been greatly influenced by progressive leftists in the past 200 years, been influenced so much that cuck has become a great and visceral insult.

Within the dissident right the alt-lite is the biggest faction. They see problems with globalism, with the EU, with Islam and with immigrants. They are eager to pick up the 100 dollar bills the left has littered the pavement with. But they do not want to rock the boat too heavily. Civic nationalism for the win. They do not like to talk too much about blacks, Jews and women. They are as edgy as edgy gets before people become too uncomfortable.

The Alt-Right are proud white men, angry men, pissed at how the breakdown of Western society has left them with slutty women and low status. They enjoy rocking the boat. They openly discuss race, the JQ and the degeneracy of modern women.

The smallest part of the dissident right, where ideas are not discussed on base of popularity but on their intrinsic truth. Here it does not matter how many clicks you receive, what matters is how truthful your observations are. This is just as messy as you might expect; man comes closer to truth mainly by bashing egos with other men and even then it is a questionable process. But it is undeniable that the Dark Enlightenment comes up with the dankest political philosophy memes.

Chaser: the motivation is preservation of our families. Most of the dark enlightenment are married. Most are trying to raise and protect kids. If our kids and wives are attackd, we will go feral. But attaching random feral feminists? Meh. Why should we care?

You’re doing it wrong. Aesthetics is important. It’s an underrated motivation for men’s actions. Yes, a 20 year old white woman with long hair can be a lovely thing, and it looks so much more worth defending than those ugly fat Muslim women in black bags. But that’s not the point. The point is that Western men aren’t actually doing anything to defend their civilization against an invasion by millions of foreign men. You might say it’s because their governments won’t allow them, and there’s a point to that. But the vast majority of white men don’t even show any will to resist. They still overwhelmingly support leftist politics.

Western men aren’t actually doing anything to defend those cute white girls from being harassed by Africans or Muslims because they don’t own them, and they have no prospect of ever owning them. So of course they don’t fight. They just go on following the latest leftist fad, hoping for some mainstream status, so they can get some money and maybe some short-term sex relationship. Those who dislike leftism overwhelmingly choose to enjoy the decline poolside. Nobody is going to risk their skin in order to protect the right of their women go to Iran to take Instagram pictures larping on what used to be a most respectable male profession.

I’ve been writing a lot about rhetoric and why it’s important. And yes, nationalism, even racism makes for better rhetoric, a better sale than The Patriarchy. But as important as rhetoric is in aiding coordination by synchronizing people’s status signaling behavior; at a more basic level there are systemic incentives without which people just won’t work. And men just won’t work to defend feminsm. They may say they will. But they won’t do it.

We will fight for our faith. We will fight for our families, We will even fight for our tribe, our neighbours… but those in our nation that would break up the family, trash the tribe, and despise us for doing our duty? We will not fight for them.

The feminists, their divorce industrial complex, their social justice monitors, and their human rights oppression tribunals.

And they are he ones who are letting the strangers in. Vote them out: if that does not work, force them out.
