There are four blogs under this site.

This one, a photography one, one for long essays and one for fitness. It is the last two where there are problems. The old installations are generally rock solid, backed up, connected to Jetpack and work.

The fitness one has not worked since the start. I can’t post. Worse, I cannot let comments through.

The final one used ghost and would not update. You need to update Ghost.

Let’s start with the fitness blog. A2 hosting has an optimized version of these files. Instead of using the generic wordpress, I used that.

This got a better importer in place, and I was able to get Hearthie’s comment up at long last. The problem I have left is that the page is not loading…. I have a redirect that is in the correct place and I can add content, but if it is not working within 48 hours I will have to talk to A2 hosting.

It is worth noting that WordPress communities have codes of conduct, but wordpress itself has not joined in the fun. I host this site, and my rules are already up there. So staying with wordpress seems reasonable

The essay blog has been renamed, restarted and uses Open Blog. However, the DNS population will take a while.

Will update as these things get sorted.

Sunday morning, and the DNS server has not found the new rantz.pukeko.net.nz page.

Have put a ticket in for the webhost
