Antipodean Carols.

It is Advent. Most English Language carols involve winter. It is (supposed to be) summer. So, for the northerners, here are some antipodean carols for the season.

Te Haranui reflects on the first sermon preached in New Zealand on Christmas Day… 151 years ago. It was in Maori.

More recently, we have managed to get a local version of the 12 days of Christmas.

And a song about one of our trees that flowers in December. This is the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra.
