The blind elite.

There are none with courage in Babylon, called by some the Cathedral. It is the land of the gray men, the bureaucrat, who believes in process and progress, and makes decisions to praise his masters (who make decisions to praise their masters).

Blame is outsourced in Babylon. It lies with the learned professions: with the incorrect minorities, and the person who is the current subject of our 15 minutes of hate: Assad, Farange, Putin, Soros, Clinton, Trump… The attacks from activists below and judges above must continue, so that guilt has its sacrifice.

But this system leads to no king, no leader, no vision, and drift.

If Xenophon, or Raffles, or Clive of India, or Atilla the Hun was running the show, he would decide whether to hold them, fold them, walk away or run. What we see the American government doing is drifting and wobbling, and right now it is gradually drifting amorphously and slowly towards abandoning its long held plans for regime change in Syria. By and large, the decisions of the presidency have no clear motive, no clear objective, and are not well modeled as decisions by a self interested individual. When IBM does X, it is generally because the CEO has decided that X would be profitable. When the presidency does something, it is the net outcome of a bunch of individuals each pursuing his particular self interest, each maximizing his particular microslice of power and his particular reputation for holiness, the net outcome of a great many individuals each with a tiny microslice of power each doing something that serves his particular interest, as a river changes its course as the net outcome of the drift of many tiny grains of sand. There are no elders of Zion, or if there are, they don’t care what happens to Zion.

One of the joys of working within a socialized and converged system is seeing how little power there is at every level. All are afraid they will be doxxed and blamed: for the system is set up so that there are very high standards demanded with insufficient resources, and a fully resourced monitoring commission that will investigate any and all infractions.

Knowing that most of the time the practitioner was not incompetent, but that is not the point. The process is the punishment, and the process trains the healing professions into spineless compliance with the diktats of the state.

Regardless of cost.

For this training means that there is no vision: we have blindfolded ourselves. No freedom: we have chained ourselves to our tasks, and look no further. And no courage, for we have mortgages to pay and people to help. Confronting the authorities is too risky.

The system becomes brittle.

As such, it will fail.

What does this mean? It means have an exit plan. Hidden. Written. Ready to act. You can and will be doxxed. Your spouse has a plan, for they will be shamed if they stand by you.

Be prepared to go small, separate from the cathedral based system, and let it crash.

We can build something better.

  1. Those who call loudest for censorship are those with something to hide. Those who have no shame but try to get the moral high ground tries to climb onto the clouds. What we see is not just overreach but desperation. Trump has called it rightly, we no longer win. However, it begins to occur to these fools that now we are not losing on purpose, but through actual stupidity and lack of resources. The only thing you can count on from slaves is lack of effort for labor not valued. The only thing you can count on from the free is that they always demand value for their labor. Between these two points is strength and weakness. The strong have demands, the weak are the ones that need excuses and help.
