Against the cult of personality. [I Cor 2]

The left relies on force and a cult of personality. It has to have its prophets and preachers. Barack, stand up and take a bow. Thank you. When they cannot get such a person and the positions of power, they refuse to follow protocol.

The Bush Presidents and the Clintons did not criticize one another after leaving office. (Yes. they had a lot of the same policies). Their appointees resigned. The republic stood.

But the modern leftists weaponized everything.

This is part of the reason the left has gone nanners. For eight years under Obama, they had unfettered ability to punish people for not agreeing with their progressive, politically correct ideology using every agency of Government. They got used to being bullies. They got to like being bullies. They thought they would get to bully their opponents forever once Hillary cemented the Progressive Authoritarian Government Obama had begun. One more left-wing Justice on the Supreme Court and it was all theirs.

But now, there’s a slim chance that the people they straight-up bullied for eight years might just have their rights restored.

Ivan Throne is an author of self help books, who counter protested the antifa. Peacefully.

The left look to leaders. Truth needs no leader. The truth is founded on Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:11-23

11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw — 13the work of each builder will become visible, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each has done. 14If what has been built on the foundation survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15If the work is burned, the builder will suffer loss; the builder will be saved, but only as through fire.

16Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

18Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,
“He catches the wise in their craftiness,”
20and again,
“The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise,
that they are futile.”
21So let no one boast about human leaders. For all things are yours, 22whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future — all belong to you, 23and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

One of the marks of the cultic, in churches and elsewhere, is the overly high veneration of leaders. That people quote the preacher as if he is a guru, and his words come from God himself. They do not.

We are all broken and flawed, and we build badly.

We need to correct each other.

The cult of personality is a trick of the prince of lies. Shun it.
