There is nothing holy about virtue signalling. In their quest to destroy that which is structured, protective, righteous, holy and good, the modern pharisee praises the degenerate and troglodyte, calling any criticism of the Orc hate speech. They are bringing in new blasphemy laws, and calling it a phobia.
This is specious. There are such things as phobias: a sense of overwhelming panic when placed into a certain situation, These caan and do cripple, for the stimulus that you fear and avoid is often common. These are common. These cause a lot of suffering. Calling those who disagree with your thoughts hateful or phobic demeans, having laws that limit free speech is foolish, and the use of such terms means that those who truly suffer find their suffering is made trivial.
Do not do this. Instead do good, and let not people know about it.
1“Beware of practicing your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2“So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 3But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
5“And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 6But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
It is not about virtue. It is not about the narrative. It is about Christ, and him Crucified. Our best work is but rags. We cannot make ourselves righteous, or regulate our people into heaven.
This was the error of the Pharisees: if we can have traditions that mean that we do not break the Torah, we will be saved. If we keep the temple, adn look at the regulations, we will life, for the law promises it is life. But no human has been able to keep this from Adam. And no war will allow us to manufacture a new righteous man.
Do not be deluded by the ideas of immortality or posthumanism. We are all appointed to die, and then to give account. The only wat to salvation is Christ, who knew of virtue signalling.
And preached against it.
