Yes, Virginia, you have to plan [Eph 1]

It might seem odd, but I want to start with a doxxing. millennial Woes is popular. The writer wants to remain anonymous. However, when you start appearing in the public, it is easy to be found. A Scottish tabloid found another blogger (who was not doxxed who identified him, and so they go around and harass his Mum and Dad.

So brave. So standard.

This is not wise. Either go public and monetize yourself (Cernovich) or have enough of a trust fund that it does not matter (Yannipolous). Or use OPSEC. There is a place for anonymity; it involves avoiding human resources. Or the political police: apparently putting a bacon sandwich outside a mosque is now worth time in the clink, during a crime spree.

Yes, we should have hope. But we should plan. And we should assume that we have enemies that would use our destruction to signal their virtue.

Ephesians 1:15-23

15I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, and for this reason 16I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. 17I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, 18so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, 19and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power. 20God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. 22And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, 23which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

So we need to be wise. Wisdom comes from God: it is a gift. We need to know that this time, too will pass. The enemy will rage. But in the meantime, we need to watch our business, work, and plan.

Minimize our risk.

For the elite will rage as they fall. There will be casualties in this life, but in the life to come there will be true justice, and it will be terrible. Shield yourself from it, by the blood of Christ, shed for your transgressions.
