I said a couple of days ago that there will be changes. . One of them is that I’m not going to tolerate people who come here and try to trash the comments: including those who preach falsity.

For the false are converged, and they have aligned with those who are evil, who want all those who oppose them to agree that 2+2=5, praising the modern big brother in a broken, dependant state.

Christ did not call us to brokenness.

See those scalped corpses, littering the plains? These are the guys – and it is, invariably, men – who thought that if only they showed contrition for their confected crimes the enemy would leave them alone. Sir Tim Hunt apologised, the guy from Saatchi apologised, the guy on the Rosetta space programme who wore the “sexist” shirt apologised. A fat lot of good it did them. The vengeful liberal-left doesn’t just want humiliation – it wants total annihilation.

Giving even an inch of ground to an enemy so implacable and vile is not only futile – but it also badly lets the side down by granting them a power that they do not deserve. The most recent sorry example of this was Steve Martin who actually deleted a tweet praising his late friend Carrie Fisher as a “beautiful creature” because a bunch of feminazis on Twitter complained that this was sexist objectification.

Look, I know it’s a scary thing when the SJW witch-hunt mob turns on you.

It is frightening when the mob turn on you, but after a couple of times you get enough callouses on the wounds that all you feel is irritation. There are strategies that will minimise your vulnerability (another post: mileage varies depending on your age, seniority, trade, and the ages of your children). In 2016 I learned that the best strategy is to not care about promotion or status. It may be, that in a converged organisation, being promoted is a sign of shame.

One of the errors that is preached is that all will be saved. If this is the case, there would be no need for the cross, no need to preach salvation, and no need for this blog.

So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again.

Do not be lead into falsehood. There is only one means of salvation, and that is Christ. The idea that we are able to accommodate those who are not of Christ because they are good Buddhist and Muslims or progressives. The Church is not some form of social work, promoting the levelling of society in the name of diversity and tolerance.

Those who teach such are akin to hired hands.

Do not try to appease them. Point them to Christ.
