Yoga Pants and the dying elite [Rev 11]

We do not need to go far to find evidence that the times are fallen and move to a mood where we pray for the end. For those of the elite know their time is limited. You see this with Soros and his puppets: they are twenty to thirty years older than I, and they know their time is limited.

So they rage. They want change, now. By cheating if needed. We see the toxic fruit of this even in our bubble in Dunedin. And praise God that he did not raise us American, or (worse) South African where the race war is turning genocidal.

But what do we need to do today? Our duty. Make a list. Check it twice. Cross the items off. It is finals week: we have exams to sit for the sons, and pukeko will have marking to do.

As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

(Luke 11:27-28 ESV)

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying,

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was,
for you have taken your great power and begun to reign.
The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged,
and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.”

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

(Revelation 11:15-19 ESV)

What we need to recall is that the yoke of Christ is easy, his duties light. This is not the way of the world, where the rules continue to change, and what was progressive becomes politically incorrect.

Man writes tongue-in-cheek letter about Yoga Pants. The result? Death threats, vulgar voice mail and a wave of outrage on local social media accounts which resulted in hundreds of women showing up in front of his house to protest. “His life was disrupted and he’s been turned into a villain, all over a note which he admits he wrote as, ‘a humorous break from the current political campaign rhetoric.’ Now he’s become a symbol of female oppression. And to top it off, Alan is gay and owns yoga pants himself.”

I blame female privilege. Plus: “Here’s one question we might want to be asking: is life simply too easy these days? Seriously. How did that many people manage to find time in their schedules to gin up a social media campaign and organize a protest over this guy’s letter to the editor? Is the country really in such great shape that we have nothing else to occupy our waking hours? Don’t you people have jobs? And if not, don’t you need jobs?”

What do we need to do today? Shun evil, and shun calling evil good[1]. Raise your family. Pray. Do your duties at work, at home, and in the community. Even when tired.

For our witness is our actions, and not our words. Words are now distrusted. For the elite have subverted them. Do not be them. Do not be like them.

1. The letter about yoga pants was correct. They are for the gym. Not for public: for men, speedos are for the swimming pool, and no where else. Did not stop the howls of outrage.

  1. thank you. i needed this today. the times are dark, and the evil oppressive; it hangs in the air like heavy humidity … weighty, waiting, heavy. it’s hard to see the bigger picture sometimes.
