The antifa swim like Cthulhu [2 Tim 1]

This is going to be political. You may say, but this is a lectionary post. It says so in the bible reference. True. But even if you are not a political tragic, political tragics are interested in you. You make a nice trophy for them to virtue signal upon.

The first example here is the UK speaker, who seems to think that tolerance and the new religion of identity is what parliament is about.

Speaker Bercow said he is one of three “keyholders” that would agree to any address in the historic hall. The other two are the Lord Speaker and Lord Great Chamberlain. He told MPs a Westminster Hall address “is not an automatic right – it is an earned honour.”

He added: “Ordinarily we are able to work by consensus that the hall would be able to be used for an address by agreement of the three key holders. Before the imposition of the migrant ban I would myself have been strongly opposed to an address by President Trump to Westminster Hall. After the imposition of the migrant ban by President Trump I am even more strongly opposed to an address by President Trump to Westminster Hall.”

The Speaker added: “We value our relationship with the United States. If a state visit takes place, that is way beyond and above the pay grade of the Speaker.

“However, as far as this place is concerned I feel very strongly that our opposition to racism and to sexism and our support for equality before the law and an independent judiciary are hugely important considerations in the House of Commons.”

Bercow also outlined his opposition to Mr Trump being invited to address MPs and peers in the Royal Gallery, a room often used for state receptions.

He said: “So far as the Royal Gallery is concerned, and again I operate on advice, I do not perhaps have as strong a say in that matter. It is in a different part of the building although customarily an invitation to a visiting leader to deliver an address there would be issued in the names of the two speakers. I would not wish to issue an invitation to President Trump to speak in the Royal Gallery.”

After his announcement, veteran anti-establishment Labour MP Dennis Skinner bellowed: “Two words – well done”. Labour MP Stephen Doughty, who started the ‘Early Day Motion’ signed by 163 MPs, said after the Speaker’s comments: “Our Parliament stands for liberty, equality and independence from government. We choose who we honour.

As usual, we look forward to Trump’s angry tweet once he learns that he is effectively non-grata in the British Parliament.

And the elite applaud. If you are deemed racist, sexist etc, you are an unperson. There is a risk in this. The unpersons, historically, do not go quietly into the night, but exterminate any of the left. Those of us who look at such things see that the protesters are protesting to defend the narrative with the deep support of people such as the Speaker of the House of Commons.

Paid protesters, Muslim and antifa

In these times, we need to look at the letters written by Paul as the first true persecution of the church by the Roman State occurred. II Timothy is one of the last letters he wrote. And here he asks for one thing: courage.

2 Timothy 1:1-14

1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, for the sake of the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,

2To Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

3I am grateful to God — whom I worship with a clear conscience, as my ancestors did — when I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. 4Recalling your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy. 5I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, lives in you. 6For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands; 7for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.

8Do not be ashamed, then, of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God, 9who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, 10but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11For this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher, 12and for this reason I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know the one in whom I have put my trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard until that day what I have entrusted to him. 13Hold to the standard of sound teaching that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 14Guard the good treasure entrusted to you, with the help of the Holy Spirit living in us.

We need to continue to preach Christ crucified, and nothing else. We do not give any identity or group a pass. We challenge the poor and the rich. We call sin evil. We will be called haters and racists and sexists.

And we should not care about this. Truth needs no defense. The enemy see caring as a weakness: it is why the left just make shit up. They only care about the points. They do not care about the people.

And they will not call anything they love evil, for evil they love.

One of the most underrated qualities of Republicans is that they police their own ranks. If you have a problem with a violent Republican racist, call some Republicans. They’ll solve it for you.

But don’t call a Republican if you are simply offended by another person’s opinion. In that situation you want to call some Democrats to ridicule and physically attack the person with the objectionable opinion.

By the way, I’m not a Republican. This is just an observation. I’ve been watching Democrats not police their own ranks – after the Berkeley violence for example – and it occurred to me that you don’t see that on the Republican side. Republicans generally appreciate free speech, but if someone attacks your family, your country, or your freedom in some physical form, keep some Republicans on speed dial.

Try it. You’ll be surprised how well it works.

Are you bothered by the fact that I am making sweeping and unsupported generalizations about Democrats and Republicans? If so, call a Democrat. I await your combined ridicule and physical violence.

This works against immigration.

There are two memes that help here. One is that we don’t care.. Sexist? Sure, God made us male and female, men under God built a structure that civilized and feminists are pagans that reject all that is historical because of their myths. The differences in races are seen in any athletic event: some of us are simply not built to sprint, such as this blogger. The South African rugby team is weak because of racial quotas — is should be made up of big fast scary Afrikaners, who like Samoans, are designed for the game. (It is not designed for Englishmen, as the All Blacks show).

The second is that Cthulhu always swims to the left, for the left is chaos. This is useful for Cthulhu eats human brains, and those who worship him go mad. Which describes the left at this time.

But our job is to preach Christ crucified, and bear the social cost. Christ has never sat well with polite society. The speaker of the house is unlikely to bring in a person who calls the conservatives a brood of vipers and the progressives so mistaken to not even be wrong.

But in him alone lies life. Have the courage to stick to sound doctrine, and let the virtue signals be elsewhere. For they will not save you.
