I wonder how much could be raised on kickstarter to recruit, equip, train, and field a riot control force for rental to smaller communities that cannot afford a sufficient;y large and well trained one. It would cost a shitpot, of course.

The last time this happened in Europe was in Germany post WWI. The communists tried to set up soviets. The protofascists stopped that. They were called the Freikorps; they suppressed the revolution then.

There have been general strikes and attempted revolutions in NZ before. Generally, the left loses. At times violently: the Farmers broke up the 1913 general strike and worked the wharves during the 1953 waterfront strike. The noble revolutionary does not exist: if the left had won they would have destroyed those farmers as surely as Stalin killed the Kulaks, and as assuredly as the Antifa deplatformed Charles Murray.

There will be a reaction. There always is. And the more the progressives push one way, the more aggressive the push back will be. The Antifa are cannon fodder. Avoid them. And do not be them.
