When Christ comes it will be obvious. There will be no doubt. There will be no rumour. It will not be muttered among those with tinfoil hats. But before that, the evil in this world will increase. As if that is not happening.
In 1995, The Boy Scouts of America was one of the last bastions of male exclusive organizations that had regular activities which encouraged young men to work with older males who served as positive role models to emulate in becoming responsible, positive contributors to society. The Boy Scouts emphasized duty to God, Country, family and community. It was an organization that instilled a mindset in young men to always strive for self-sufficiency and self-reliance, and to always help other people at all times, to keep yourself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
In 2005, The Boy Scouts of America were designated a hate group and a lynch pin in supporting the hegemony of oppressive patriarchy. They were barred from using publicly funded facilities for their exclusionary meetings where older men taught younger boys an ideology of hatred, exclusion and social injustice.
In 2015, The Boy Scouts of America is a model institution of tolerance and inclusiveness. The unjust and exclusionary policies that used to discriminate against older males of varying sexual persuasions from sleeping in the same tents as the young men they were in charge of, has finally ended. Any person of any gender identity may now join the organization so long as they publicly identify with the gender identity of “Boy.” In many ways, the changes to this organization merely reflect the glorious progressive changes that are becoming the hallmarks of our Brave New World Order.
I was never a scout. I belonged to the Boys’ Brigade: my sons belonged to neither. And if they wanted to join, I would no longer recommend the Scouts. The entryists have ruined it, and sown the fields with rainbow polonium.
Brother Keoni has done the sane thing. He has made a compound, and is disconnecting from this world. But we need to continue to warn while we can. For the elite have indeed a powerful delusion, and the spirit of this world is not that of Christ.
Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
(2 Thessalonians 2 ESV)
A couple of nights ago I was watching TV. We have but streaming at Casa Pukeko now: There is no “cable” (Sky TV) and instead we have some Netflix binges. I had forgotten how much television is rhetorical. It works by emotions: reality TV in particular. The show needs a woman to be horrible, a couple of approved secular saints, and something irrelevant to judge. Such, and the latest album by Beyonce, make up the news. The serious papers talk about the economy and house prices and poverty and immigration: none of this (or very littel) makes the broadcast news.
Our media appeal to our baser emotions: greed, envy, gluttony and lust. In combination.
But we should have no part in this. We can instead fill our lives with things we do, and things that matter: Such as family.
Always remember that this elite will fall. Do not be aligned with them: they get their agenda from the pit.
