There is a convergence that occurs in liberal theology, and it is unitarian on a good day. For the liberal sees church as a religion. And religions lead to death. We cannot earn our way into the heavenly gates. All the tweets about there being a good concert in heaven because Bowie and Lemmy and Glen Frey from the Eagles have just died are delusions.
For the first thing to take from this passage is that Christ is not merely our high priest, he is also the judge, and the test is his words.
Given our nature, we will be judged and found wanting. Our nature is stony and bleak: our beaches are made of stone not sand, our fields of sand not soil. And we find our lives as lonely and empty as the few children in Italian villages playing while their multiple grandparents look on.
For the liberal and the unitarian converge in an existential concentration on this life. As if there is no further life, and the dead are no more. And Christ talks about giving the dead a choice to believe or not, for their salvation.
The Liberal and the Unitarian converge. For they deny the Christ. And such existed from the beginning.
So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. The Father judges no one, but has given all judgement to the Son, that all may honour the Son, just as they honour the Father. Whoever does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to execute judgement, because he is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgement.
(John 5:19-29 ESV)
For the liberal, everything is political. You have to celebrate the moves of the progressives, particularly if they encourage death and despair. The young woman being alone on a beach is a worthy goal, for the young may breed, and humanity is a plague. And we must look for any variation from the narrative, in case, in case, the words spoken damn us.
For Christ speaks of judgement, and that is Hate Speech.
The trouble is that such people walk with evil. Roe v Wade is a the results of liberal judges making fiction law, and we are now a generation past, with a death toll of dead babes: the judges made it ‘constitutional’ so (unlike in NZ, where we can hold our politicians to account and our contraception and abortion act is the work of parliament) the congress cannot undo this.
Such a system institutionalizes evil. But one cannot say this to a liberal. They have kept the form of religion and deny the power.
And, unfortunately, they enter everywhere. You cannot assume that the Presbyterian Minister, the Baptist Pastor or the Orthodox or Anglican Priest has not this leaven within them. There are Nuns and Priests in that apostate branch of the Catholic Church in the USA who promote abortion, to the shame of the believing Catholic, the Bishops, Cardinals, and Pope.
This is one of those places where we have to be wily as snakes. We cannot join them, and we cannot be like them. And they want to join us to corrupt us. So look not at their words, but where they put their money, and if the soil of righteousness becomes stone during their tenure.
And let us pray for them. Even the most brain-dead and social justice wounded promoter. For God will call his own to him: may those we love be within that elect.
As some have said above, Roosh seems to be changing if indeed you can ever change after having degraded yourself as much as Roosh has. But the grace of God is not limited by what it ‘seems’ to us. Best to just leave him alone and let him work out his salvation if salvation is available to him. in the meantime, i agree with you; we have few enough friends like Roosh. Best to let as many come to us through him as will. my own introduction to the alt-right coincided with taking the red-pill and i honestly cannot say one was prior to the other but i know they both fell into place at the same time and i am not a woman-hater; they have been damaged even more than men by modernism.
To those who seek righteousness, virtue, and beauty, there is Christ. He is the true judge, and we are made in the image of God. For those who would worship intersectionality and micro-aggressions I have but one word: Repent. For at the end of that path is despair and perdition.
