Two blogs gone (was three, but one is coming back)

The Karamazov Idea has been in a zombie state for some time, and Turtle and Compass is now marked private by Blogger, so it has gone.

I am getting a little more concerned about what is happening. Matt Forney, the scamp, set up a faux Christian Blog, in part to see if he can do it.

It helped his writing chops but not enough: the site is going down. It’s getting nasty out there, folks.

Will has taken Will S.’ Miscellanydown… so that has gone as well. Will comments.

apparently it was just a software glitch, with anti-spam software incorrectly flagging my site as in violation, when in fact it had not been.

I hated how my blog had been stated as having been in violation, rather than in apparent violation, of the Terms of Service.

I already decided, after it had been down for a day, that maybe it was providential, as I’d been spending too much time behind it, and that I would delete it even if they restored it. Which I’ve done. Perhaps I will start afresh, and do things a bit differently. Perhaps not. I’m not sure yet.

I do know that the sites promoted by WordPress in their reader are quite liberal. Not that is three links down this week, and it’s only Thursday.

UPDATE 2.
Turtle and compass will be back after Lent and after a redesign.

    1. I have taken the link down. I did go there semi regularly: you have similarly warped tastes, and it meant I did not have to read Binky the webelf or Katy Shadie to keep up with Canadian issues.

      1. If I start up something similar, again, in the future, I’ll be sure to inform Patri readers.
