Feminists like to shame anyone who doesn’t agree with them. It doesn’t matter if its a man or woman. Their MO is getting pretty tired and used up though. More like us are starting to push back. Its a lovely thing.

So a quick deviation from usual programming. This blog is primarily a discussion of the lectionary. I am right wing for NZ values of right wing: I want a small state with a safety net of social insurance, not a culture of entitlement: I want healthy families not social workers, and my fantasy is to sack 50% of the core public service and 90% of the education and health departments, using the monies saved to have a defense force that would allow NZ to be neutral and heavily armed. (the fact Wellington would then be a smaller city than Dunedin is a bonus that I greatly desire).

I’m not a great ideologue: I know people who are and I link to the more intelligent of them (which is why there is a column called “useful idiots” in the links). The things that get me going are evangelism, christian living, and censorship: the reason I am for free speech not appropriate speech is that I am quite aware that the Islamists would use hate speech or appropriate speech to stop Christian evangelism. I will tolerate a fair amount of false speech — besides it gives us all something to fisk.

The world is full of awful people. No mystery there. What we should care about is honesty. Tell the truth about your life – we are not children and we understand you will attempt to spin your life so it doesn’t sound quite so awful, but the truth will still be visible.

Yes, I let my husband raise our children. Yes, I let my husband pay for my school and then divorced him the day after the loans were finally paid.Yes, I refuse to let anything get in the way of my ambition.

Don’t pretend to be something you are not. Because if you are not proud of yourself, why should we be? And why should we trust someone who is afraid to be honest about who she is?

Over the last week there has been a big debate over game and non game in the corner of the net I hang out in. For me, and for many, Donal Graeme’s analysis has been helpful.

This new understanding leads to another definition of Game: A philosophy grounded in Idolatry of Self that frames itself around prideful self-confidence and revolves around creating a toolbox of methods to advance one’s self-interest in all walks of life.

So Game is not a Toolbox, but rather a toolbox is what Game seeks to go about creating. It is a step in the process of advancing oneself. This leads to a new model for Game:

Idolatry of Self forms the base or foundation of the pyramid, which is the core guiding principle. This foundation is not visible, you have to dig beneath the surface to find it, which is why many (including myself) fail(ed) to realize it. Above it we find self-confidence, which is the core of the “Frame” that a man carries himself about in. This is visible, and is the basic manifestation of a man’s character. Above that is the Toolkit, a combination of knowledge and skills developed to achieve whatever goal is sought. And at the top is Temptation, the end result of successful Game in a specific endeavor: to bed a woman.

Lastly, at the pinnacle or cap-stone of the pyramid, we have Adoration. This is the sentiment that we want to kindle in God-fearing women. Attraction by itself is nice and good, but the goal is to become the kind of man that Christian women look up to, the kind of man that they would willingly join their lives to.

I think that most of the work on this project will be focused on the Frame aspect, what I currently refer to as Sophroneo (thanks to Lyn87 for cluing me in to that). Creating a foundation of Masculine Godliness is mostly a personal venture that will take time and effort, but not be all that difficult. A good understanding of how feminism has corrupted Christianity will go a long way. The Toolkit aspect is mostly combing through Game teaching and the Classics to find out what is valuable and what isn’t when it comes to attracting women, then sifting for what is compatible with Christianity and weaving it all together. Adoration should come naturally enough when everything else is put together.

This fits in with one of the ongoing factors we have to continually work around in this fallen world. The best lies contain a lot of truth. We have a generation of young men who have not been fathered — either because of divorce or tne incel (involuntary celibacy, or being treated by their spouse as a spayed doormat) status of their fathers. This leads to men looking anywhere for techne — skills — to deal with managing women in this society where “being unhappy” is grounds for divorce. Some of the toolkit is driven by a blunt discussion of biology and self reflection: some by ancient wisdom. But any toolkit can be used for good or for ill. And on that point, everyone is a moral agent. Choose wisely.
