Know this, though: most (yes, I will say MOST) of us Americans despise and mock this sickening institution even more than non-Americans do and eagerly await its dissolution, either through the political process or the Natural Law forces of socioeconomics. A more profound and humiliating national embarrassment is difficult to conceive of, with the possible exception of the current occupant of the White House.
While I’m sure it’s not my place to do so, I apologize anyway on behalf of Americans with consciences everywhere.
