The entryists come to steal and destroy and kill. They do this within the church. This is about a church which apparently was a mega church, but now is falling apart.
North Heights was founded in 1946 and operated for years in a 450-seat church in Roseville. In 1985, it leaped into the realm of mega-churches by adding a second location.
Its 43-acre campus is bigger than the site of the new Minnesota Vikings stadium. The building has a full-sized basketball court, a racquetball court, several chapels and a cavernous sanctuary with 1,350 seats.
At its peak about 10 years ago, the church drew 3,400 worshippers each week to its two locations. “At one point, you could choose from seven services,” said Mary Green, a 28-year member and the children’s education coordinator.
Since then, the church’s attendance has been steadily declining. Earlier this year, according to Bak, attendance had dropped to 1,600 per week.
Expenses were out of control, Bak said. The church had 88 employees — five times as many as the national average for similar-sized churches, she said. A typical American church of 1,600 attendees might be expected to have 11 to 19 full-time staffers, according to the Hartford Institute for Religion Research and other sources.
The trouble here is intergenerational leadership changes, and female pastorate. The trouble is that you need to keep your leadership lean. This church has too many staffers, too many programmes, and when Bak cut back, closing the original church, people quit.
Vox is correct in his commentary.
Never permit female leadership in the Church. It will absolutely kill any church that is foolish enough to do so after seeing what has happened in every single church that has done so already. The sort of women who want to be church leaders are almost invariably SJWs; when appointing a female pastor you might as well put up a sign announcing that the church has changed denominations from Baptist or Methodist or whatever to Social Justice.
Notice how the invaders always end up with the buildings and the land. They don’t give a damn about God or the congregation. “We are either going to be reborn or we are going to go through a slow death.” What does that tell you? The one thing that isn’t an option is for a successful Christian congregation to carry on as before, simply God in the name of Jesus Christ.
This phenomenon of the “stolen church” is not new. This is the third case of which I have heard and the second time it has happened to a church I personally attended at one point or another. Paul warned about this; most church leaderships have been absolutely derelict in their duty to police their congregations, and in particular, their elders.
And if the churches die, and go progressive, society follows. And that will have consequences.
The bit is getting flipped on this. The NorCal town I grew up in was so hippy-dippy leftwing, it’s the place you’d move to if San Francisco was just too damn conservative for you.
They have a huge homeless problem now of course. Well, let’s be clear – they have a bum problem. A vagrant problem. A problem with nut-cases and drug addicts. Groups have began protesting recently and they’re being called names by the SJWs.
They don’t care. “The time for being nice has passed” and “Fuck being politically correct it’s fucking ruining our country” are what they’re are saying when the SJWs try to shut them up.
But they’re doing things too. A mentally deranged bum was pepper-sprayed and his camp burned. He left town. People noticed it worked. I think it will happen more often.
It is far better to have male leadership. To challenge men to do their duty, and to lead. Women cannot lead men well (Yes, I know that Thatcher could, but she was an exception) but men can lead women. There are rules in the Bible about who should teach and who is qualified.
Women are not qualified. Most men don’t qualify. The untested don’t qualify. And demanding that people who are not able to do the job are deemed to do such — against the reality of our human condition, against nature, and against the clear teaching of God — will fail.
And that failure is the result the petunias want. They enter to steal, kill and destroy.
Once a church has become a megachurch, anyway, Ichabod.

Not all megachurches dilute the gospel, but as in your visit, that is the way to bet.

The serpent initiated the fall by undermining God’s created order of male leadership and enticing a woman to lead her husband. Wherever you see the reversal of healthy, God given gender roles, you know the enemy is working.
The fascinating bit is that it’s always pretty easy to see where the Heart lay in these situations. There is literally an infinite amount of tasks a Christian Woman can set herself to. The Bible really only limits 3 things. But those are the ones attacked. Curious, that.
But the functional problem, where this War is always lost, is pretty easy to explain. It’s the Deacon/Elder board. Once that is flipped at Women are allowed, your Church is almost assuredly lost. Only a really dedicated soul, with God at his back, can change that back.
