Why is it that the most trenchant criticisms in the USA come from women called Ann?

Let’s face it, Obama is a tool. He was never tested: Carter, who was the byword for micromanagement and dithering, had managed to command a Nuclear Submarine under Rickover, so had some virtues. Obama has just got a pass throughout his life.

And now he is a position where he needs to lead and he cannot play an affirmative action card. So the comments of two Anns. Coulter, the first, is from the same universities, and thinks it is irony.

Everyone says President Obama is a feckless commander, weak in statecraft, especially compared to the great leaders of the Western world, such as Reagan and Churchill.

I believe this does Obama a great injustice. It’s so easy to react the way a great leader would. Sure, Obama could have left a small contingent of American troops in Iraq, preserved America’s victory, and prevented the entire region from collapsing into chaos and terror. He could have refrained from issuing empty “red line” threats to Syria. He could call ISIS “Islamic.” But anybody could do that — even ISIS calls itself “Islamic.” (Note for scholars: That’s what the first “I” stands for.)

These are the obvious answers. Obama could do it, too. But let me hasten to add: Those guys — unlike Obama — never won a Nobel Peace Prize. The genius of Obama is that he takes a much more nuanced view of the world.

Chris Muir points out that Obama surrounded himself with corrupt tools.

Ann Barnhardt is not of the elite. She has gone Galt. She has no connections. And she points out that it is not merely Obama, and that all this is deliberate.

So with regards to Iran, the question is why is the Obama regime giving them nukes, actually advocating FOR the Ayatollahs? No one can make any sense out of these events, when the answer is obvious, and has been obvious all along for that tiny group of us who have manfully engaged the historical dataset and dealt with it like adults.

Barack Obama and his handlers are not loyal Americans. They are non-state, non-uniformed enemy belligerents.

They are conscious enemies of the Constitutional Republic of the United States who infiltrated and overthrew the Constitutional Republic in a cold coup, and are now willfully destroying any remaining structures or paradigms that could support an internal counter-revolution, while building up and supporting previously extant alliances with other enemies of the former United States, most notably with their rapidly coalescing islamic mercenary army, as well as any and all Marxist kleptocracies.

WhaleOil’s daily cartoon gets it fairly right.

Now, I am not an American Citizen, something I am profoundly grateful for. I tend to stay within the Commonwealth, and we have enough problems of our own. What I see is a structural problem that has now become apparent due to a loss of civil culture. The US constitution has a elected Stuart style king who runs the executive. There are some checks and balance — congress (Parliament) controls the purse, and the Supreme court make up more stoned versions of the constitution every decade or so — but there is no testing.

The post Glorious Revolution (that is Post Stuart) Commonwealth system is a Royal Republic: the King reigns but does not rule: that is delegated to Parliament, and Parliament guards its role as the final court jealously. Moreover, any politician is tested before they get a ministerial warrant by that one place where you can say anything: question time.

Consider how Margaret Thatcher was treated, and how Obama or Clinton would handle this.

I am aware that the US has an extensive primary system, and that the next crop of ambitious narcassists are polishing their lies — sorry, I meant stump speeches — as I write. But they lack a sense of apprenticeship and accountability. Our parliamentary system has problems, but we can and have called our ministers, even prime minister, fools, corrupt and even traitorous, without feeling for one second we are being disloyal. For our loyalty (excluding a very silly campaign about Game of Thrones that is happening in NZ now) is to the crown, and the crown’s loyalty is to God.

But no structure can hold without people who have honour and loyalty. Which seems lacking in Washington right now.
