The failure of conspiracy.

A very simple comment this morning, and it relates to our times, for the SJW are the current Pharisees, requiring us to keep their regulations and bow to their Gods of Equality and Gaea. One commentator commented that this is a form of Gnosticism: our very bodies have to be broken so there is equality>

As if. We are unequal. As is shown in sports: as is shown in competative examinations, and is shown in the marketplace. The skilled and strong win in sports, the intelligent and nerdy win examinations, and those who meet the desires of the market place survive. And this is where we are challenged, because we are told we have to move with the times, and be good little progressive social Darwinists.

As if. Far better to look at what Christ did. For it applies to us as well. If we do not welcome Christ and conspire against him to destroy him, we too will find he has left.

But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him.

Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all and ordered them not to make him known. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
He will not quarrel or cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets;
a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory; and in his name the Gentiles will hope.”

(Matthew 12:14-21 ESV)

At present, I am on holiday and the pressure is off my head and on those parts of me that connect to the road: the aim for the next two weeks is to increase endurance and surf hang time.

But that has nothing to do with this. The issue here is true authenticity or a facsimile thereof. People seek truth and beauty. They respond to honour. And all those who still have a conscience seek redemption, for they know that they have erred.

So the people left Jerusalem and sought Jesus in the wild country, where he had withdrawn to. The political manipulation of the elite mattered not: that was happening in the city not in the wild country.

This applies to us. If we abide in Christ and seek him, he will remain with us: in city or wilderness. But if we reject him: either as individuals or congregations, or as a nation, he will withdraw. The broken he will not hurt. He knows those who are his will seek him, regardless.

And the churches of the apostate will empty: the moral authority of the university or politicians will be debased, for they preach naught but lies. People seek truth. So let us live it, and use words when needed.
