I’ve gotten as involved as I intend to. Of course humans enjoy drama and gossip. You don’t think the Lord mentions control of our tongues because that’s *easy* for humans? :p

I’d enjoy more traffic and convo on my site, but I won’t change who I am (or what I feel called to write) to get traffic and conversation.

*I* am not right, that’s Pastor Mike. 😉 I have a two-column list, both sides of a sheet of typing paper, of people whose conversion I need to pray for. *I* need to cut my list down to a manageable size and then actually pray for them instead of staring at the paper and being overwhelmed!!!

Yes, and we can choose not to get involved in things. The traffic is still quite high here, and I think a lot of people really enjoy the public catfights. I do not.

I don’t really want to be huge — I do not want to “have a million hits in a year” because this is not my job.

And you are right, we need to pray for those close to us.

Regarding “where we can make a difference”, and our micro-environment, apparently we are going to start talking about the “oikos” (Greek word for inner circle) and those 8-15 people we can truly influence, and working on evangelizing them… not the universe at large. (This was briefly touched on at last weekend’s service, we were also asked to make a list of our oikos members and pray for them daily and intensively… which I need to get on. And we’ve been asked to fast on GF, specifically for conversions.)

Evangelical guilt – wondering what eternal good you really are. Ah, more reason for prayer and fellowship with the Lord! Story of my life, really. “I should pray about that…”
