Following on from yesterday, there is a post from SSM about the pro-abortion crowd howling in Texas that there will be regulations and limits on abortions. Now one of the guests noted that the women were chickwhales and complained we were insulting. That’s not the problem. The problem is that these women will not accept any limits, and discipline, any structure — and they think they will get their way by yelling and threatening.
That only works with the undisciplined and with the cowards. Dealing with feminists is easy. However, many of those who are oppose us are not cowards, but instead are fit, hard, and disciplined. Paul is a prime example.
1Meanwhile Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3Now as he was going along and approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5He asked, “Who are you, Lord?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 6But get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” 7The men who were traveling with him stood speechless because they heard the voice but saw no one. 8Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. 9For three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.
26As they led him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming from the country, and they laid the cross on him, and made him carry it behind Jesus. 27A great number of the people followed him, and among them were women who were beating their breasts and wailing for him. 28But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29For the days are surely coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’ 30Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us’; and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ 31For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
When you have the Satanists disgusted with the pro abortionists, you know that the wood is dry. That the liberals are in their death spiral. That they are now dangerous. It is our duty in this time to stand firm, and preach, reach out, and rescue as many people from the road to perdition as we can.
But we are not Satanists. We will have to teach the law. And we will have to be disciplined. We need to look at our diets, our exercise programmes, our work habits, our dress: all those external things that say either that we are self indulgent landwhales or people you take what they believe and live it.
And we can expect to be shunned, to be persecuted, to be driven out. For it happened to the Apostles. If it happened to our forefathers in the faith, it will happen to us.
