You can easily make a bow and arrows in the space of hour; just get a PVC pipe, cut some notches on the edge and use jute twine as string. Arrows can be made by getting hardwood dowels (or bamboo) and making flight feathers out of tape. I’ve made arrowheads by cutting triangles out of cow femurs and using a rotary tool to shape it. But if you really don’t want to bother with that, you can make a “tip” by using a pencil sharpener on the shaft.

The quality of your weapons of course depends on the quality of your materials and your skills. A PVC pipe bow is merely a stop gap measure; if you’re good with wood you stand a better chance.
