Oh. Um, you can call me either Butterfly Flower, or Iris. I guess Iris is easier, since it’s only four letters.

Although I’ll never cease wishing my folks named me something less…Edwardian era. Perhaps a more edgy-sounding flower, like Azalea, or Zinnia.

My name is Iris [old lady-ish and uncool…] It makes my handle rather meaningful, if you knew the flower “Butterfly Iris” is also known as dietes – dual affinities. I’m a hafu.

My husband’s name really is Ken. But not like the Ken Carson [Barbie’s boyfriend] Ken, the Japanese Ken. It means healthy in Japanese.
