Just put together the less nasty links on this from Dalrock… it got nasty over there.

A judge would find her motive for divorce completely acceptable? [since it wouldn’t fall under the medical definition of crazy…]

No wonder MRA guys are so upset. Imagine being a normal, dedicated husband, only to be punished for your wife’s immature flighty selfishness…..

Have you ever wondered what it is about idiom that dove tails so nicely with evangelical feminism and gynocentrism? In my travels around the world I have noted with stark contrast that these things infect English speakers very differently than others….not exactly as in ….better….or…..worse…..but very differently

We stop using it as a guideline, but a source of justification for what we want. And then we feel guilty. For good reason. Guilt is also useful, as our conscience is guided by the […]

Like, they are frustrated with their minds’ natural response to hurting others. They’d prefer to not possess a conscience. They wish they had someone else to blame [i.e. imaginary cheating husband] instead of themselves.

Chris, I realize this is your line of work: is the above-thought pattern listed somewhere in the DSM-IV? I mean, there has to be something clinically wrong with those women. Divorce will not cure their “unhaaaaappiness” – intense psychotherapy might. I’m not trying to excuse their behavior, it’s just – surely sane, normal people can’t think that way. Because if that isn’t the case, than that would mean we are living in a society where possessing a conscience is considered “less than ideal”. &, well, that’s just frightening.

Mind you it’s a while since I was a Christian (if I in fact ever was…). Do you mind my asking the biblical basis for divorce in the case of abandonment?
