Celebrating the workshop, resurrecting the desktop

I use Antergos on my laptops and desktop. Yes, it is Arch made easy. Sue me. The challenge I had is that when I got the desktop up — which was after we managed to get the Pro Photographer’s new studio up, the signatures for the developer of Lxqt were broken. Arch requires signatures. The machine had been off and not upgraded for three months, which causes problems with rolling distributions.

So I went searching for the solution. As in most of Arch, it was elegant.

 sudo pacman-key --refresh-keys

This got the correct signatures for packages, and the upgrade is proceeding as planned…

Robyn now has a studio, and is happy. After a celebration, she enjoyed trying out new fonts and layouts for the workshop. And this desktop will live there, so I can do film processing while she works at her photography business.
