The meme war is not life [I Thess 5]

None of us are perfect. None of us. We all have flaws, worries and concerns. We all fail to keep to the standards that we believe right and proper. For the law is within us: even if we have never opened the Bible (and if you are here, you have, virtually) we know right from wrong as we know left from right.

And we want to do right. We need a hope: taken away from us by the secular state. The text on today’s picture applies here.

The ideology of progress envisages the perfectibility of man in terms of his terrestrial development, and relegates it to a hypothetical future, whereas tradition envisages the perfectibility of man in terms of salvation or sanctification, and proclaims that it is realizable here and now.”

— Lord Northbourne, 1940

The progressives have locked up the old books that allow us to see truth and beauty and other assumptions that we don’t have in this time. It has taken hope.

The Fascist superman and the Soviet man are automatons, without mercy, and an inability to love. We are not called to that

The times are not going to be easy. The progressive left have failed (but are too far down their rabbit holes to know that). This failure has led to them electing a new people. Let them rant.

We have life to live, and that for the Glory of God.

Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

(1 Thessalonians 5:13-24 ESV)

“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

And every day he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet. And early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him.

(Luke 21:34-38 ESV)

Christ is coming. He will return, and he will bring Justice. It will be terrible. Though it is terribly needed. The left have converged with those who call evil good and good evil, despite it damaging those who they claim to be protecting.

It is not good to tell people that their choice of an evil lifestyle is a valid choice. It is better to tell them this is not the case: that we should live righteously, and not in degeneration.

The left cannot see this. They look to a future which is a lie, and cannot even correct from their failures.

So today, let us pray that we are not led into temptation, knowing we often are tempted by our own desires. Let us live for each other. Let us be thankful. Let us praise God.

And let us ignore the elite, who want us miserable and the memewar won.
