No platform has a precedent.

The tactic of no platforming is an act of the progressive, for the progressives won the last culture war, and in the fading days of the progressive polity they have to regulate. For their policies have failed. I won’t deviate here: this is obvious to anyone who has eyes.

The Pharisees did the same thing. When Christ said he was the light of the world, they said… who is your witness? Who saw this happen?

As if Moses had a minyan on the Mount Sinai.

When the truth is said, it will be opposed. It will be called a lie.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” So the Pharisees said to him, “You are bearing witness about yourself; your testimony is not true.” Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going. You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true. I am the one who bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me.” They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” These words he spoke in the treasury, as he taught in the temple; but no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.

(John 8:12-20 ESV)

What Christ was claiming was divinity.

  1. The light of the world comes from he whom said “Let there be light” at creation.
  2. The claim he came from his father was an implication that he was the Son of God, the Messiah, the one prophesied
  3. Jesus claimed to know where he was going: no man knows his future unless it is revealed by God, or is God.

You cannot call Christ a good example, a holy man, a precursor to progressive revolution or the kingship of the Tories. You cannot say he is but a man. He did not say that about himself. To do so is to say he is a liar, a con man.

Or that he is mad.

One cannot claim he is just a prophet. The prophets pointed to the law and to God. Christ points at himself, and says if you want to know God, know me.

What the Pharisees tried to do is remove his right to speak. To control the discourse: they wanted a Messiah that would fit their ideology. They prayed for such. But what they got was truly the Messiah, but not for merely the Jews, but the whole world.

They got something greater and more than they thought, and this led to them opposing that they had waited for generation after generation for.

Christ is the light of the world. Let us rejoice. And let us make our own platforms when th elite regulate the narrative.

Do not converge with them, for their ways are evil.
