This post is NSFW. Nor is the gospel. [Rom 2]

It is Ramadan, and the mad and bad among our friends who are deluded enough to follow Mohammed are out in force. We have had the Orlando deaths. A policeman and his wife were killed in their home in a terrorist attack in near Paris.

Before I quote, I should warn anyone with kids that this is fairly graphic. It was taken from the news reports this morning. And it should not be read by children, or anywhere Human Resources can monitor you.

A convicted radical who killed a French police couple in an IS-inspired stabbing was carrying a “hit list” of VIPs and urged followers to turn Euro 2016 into a “graveyard”, officials said Tuesday.

Monday’s assault in a small town northwest of Paris was the first deadly strike in France since the coordinated attacks in the capital by an Islamic State cell in November, which killed 130 people.

Larossi Abballa, who was under surveillance after serving time for links to jihadist networks, first stabbed 42-year-old Jean-Baptiste Salvaing outside his home.

He then holed up inside the house with Salvaing’s 36-year-old partner Jessica Schneider and the couple’s three-year-old son.

Shortly afterwards he killed Schneider by slitting her throat.

Abballa then posted on Facebook a live 13-minute video of himself inside the house with the child in which he admits the murders and urges fellow jihadists to carry out more bloodshed.

Well, that is fairly bad. That is terror, the only good news is that the couple’s child survived. But these men did not. However, there is also the mad: and this is an example of the latter.

A TEENAGE girl has been stabbed by a man as a Ramadan sacrifice, according to authorities. The girl was reportedly stabbed in Rennes, France, by an attacker marking the Islamic month of fasting.

Prosecutor Nicolas Jacquet confirmed the attack today, in which the 19-year-old victim sustained three stab wounds. He said the man, who had known psychiatric problems, claimed he heard voices demanding a sacrifice for Ramadan. “Voices told him that he must commit a sacrifice on the occasion of Ramadan,” the prosecutor said. The knifeman was arrested, examined by a doctor and immediately sent for psychiatric treatment.

Mr Jacquet added that the 32-year-old had “already made several stays in psychiatric hospitals”. Le Dauphine writes that the man told a witness to whom he handed the knife that he was a Muslim

Ramadan is a stressful time for those who fast. They tend to binge eat. They get irritable. Because the fast is from sunrise to sunset, they don’t sleep much, and because in Europe it is high summer the sun rises at 5 am or earlier and sets at 10 PM. Or later. I once visited a university in Northern Finland during summer. It got no darker than twilight.

It is easy to damn these attacks. They are offensive against all the laws of nature and of God. They are not the work of anything good. For there is one thing we do know, and it is by our works we will be judged, and by our works we will be damned.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.

He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality.

(Romans 1:28-2:11 ESV)

God shows no partiality. It does not matter, to God, if you are French or Algerian or Arabian or Jewish or Russian or from Maine. It does not matter. What matters is what you have done and how you have influenced the world.

The way we know that we are the disciples of Christ is that we love our brothers and sisters in Christ. The way we know we are not of Christ is that we hate those who claim his name.

So let us pray for the victims who live: the dead are in the hands of a living God, and never underestimate how terrible it will be to see him, and have our delusions and rationalizations stripped away, and see the evil we have done.

Let us pray that those dead found Christ, are shriven, and stand before God in joy because of the completed work of Christ.

In the meanwhile, let us love our families and children. All men do such, but the Orcs.

Let us love our brothers and sisters in the Church, and support them. We have no enemies in Christ: we just have friends with irritating theologies whose back we have a duty to cover.

And let us do good. Let us protect the weak, let the King catch and punish the murderer and thief, and let us preach the gospel. Regardless of the regulations of the elite, and ignoring the micro-regulations of the converged who haunt HR.

And have made this blog NSFW.
