Default theme is broken: this was Dispatch, now Ignite Plus.

Twenty-fifteen is the default theme at WordPress and when updated this AM broke: when I look at the page there is an error.

I have switched to Dispatch. I hope that Twenty-fifteen will work soon, but apparently the stylesheet is broken. Sorting that will take a bit of time.

I have had to manually add back the Statcounter link and the creative commons licence. There are some changes there… but as far as I can see they do work.

Comments about this theme appreciated: if it is better I can keep it

Well, that theme lasted one day, and so I can get fussy I switched to Ignite Plus. This has allowed me to change the font (I’m using “ubuntu”, which is a Google font family), the colours, and limit what social media I let you see.

The issue will be keeping this stable. Because I have spent a couple of hours getting this how I like it (particularly the “blockquote” parts: under Twenty fifteen I used the “pre” tag a lot, as the blockquoted text was bigger and disproportionate, and under Dispatch they were worse.

Back to creating stuff, and not thinking about how I do it.

Ironically, I prefer to have links on the Right side. De gustibus nihil disputatem: I liked the way I had the theme before and that fell over.

The blockquote in BLOCKTEXT is getting at me, though. Particularly when the “pre” formatting direction makes everything red
